We had our wedding at the Big Oaks Shelter. It was simply beautiful. The staff mowed the day before and were very helpful through the process. The only thing I did not like was that the public was able to use the restrooms while we were having the wedding...and the wedding certainly did not stop the public from using...

Had a $7 fee to get in, then the bathroom/beach house was all locked up so we couldn't even change into suits. The beach was murky and beach "sand" just lots of little rocks and shells. May be normal for the area, not sure. The kids enjoyed it but changing in a room would've been cool. 90° out and the beachcomber...
