Really fantastic hiking trail 15 minutes away from Bloomington. I go counter clockwise on the loop usually to avoid the “stairmaster” section about a mile in on the clockwise loop. Either way, the whole loop is hilly and difficult no matter which direction you go. Great workout. I almost always hear or see a pileated woodpecker out here.
