Want 2 not share this and keep to my greedy self.. Sorry. If I thought I could live here I would.. Exquisite. Did not know about this friend took me here cause she lives here. And I live about 15 miles from here.. Blountsville is underrated.. They have so much History. Spring valley water park. But history is my concern 2 historic Bridges are near by still drive able. Mardis mills. Tyson fuels the town cause it is small. Luckys grocery we totem gas station with good small deli. Jack. 1 dinner lupitas?? Mexican food go go go people and food are some of the best.. Dollar General.. Small mercardo YES!! Supermarket. Blountsville is wonderful please spend some time here.. Please do yr self a fav. And spend a day here u won't be sorry..

Visited today. Very impressive collection of log cabins and other early frontier buildings with displays of period tools, furniture, and household goods. Really puts the time period in perspective. The host on duty ( Mark) was very knowledgeable and more than willing to tour the buildings with me and share the history of the area. Cannot thank the folks that have created this park enough. Close to other area attractions in the area such as covered bridges, water falls , and even a water park. Great location for a family gathering or just a picnic..

Absolutely loved this place! If you love old cabins like back in the pioneer days you definitely need to see this place! They’re all together in a grassy field they have blountsville’s first jail, post office,a beautiful little chapel, a barn, they also have a sign with a map on it that says Bear Meat Cabin Road. bear meat cabin is what Blountsville was first called. Bear Meat was the name of an Indian and that was the road the settlers traveled down before Alabama was a state
