Pink Hill Park is great place to go to!! My son loves going there, because he has 3 different parks within the same vicinity to choose from!! They've also got a couple of baseball fields, a tennis court, a sand pit volleyball area, horse shoe toss in a couple of areas, there's a dirt bike track (which may be owned by someone else), and a couple of soccer fields. There are also 5 different shelters for family/friend outings/get togethers whatever the occasion may be, that also include grills. If you haven't been here before, and you want to have a gathering at one of the shelters and parks, call City of Blue Springs Parks & Recreation to reserve one. Our dog also enjoys going to this park as well, because she has lots of space to run, explore and play in. Burr Oak Woods Conservation is also right there. So while you're out and about, and you wanna do something free that kids can enjoy too, you could venture over there if you enjoy nature. Just a heads up though, unfortunately you can't bring your furry friends with you to Burr Oak Woods Conservation if you decide to go there. Hope this helps answer some questions you may have....
Read moreThere is free parking. They have three baseball fields. Three different parks a blue and white one, a yellow and white one, and a green and brown one. My favorite part though is there BMX (bike racing) course its open Tuesday, Friday, and sometimes Sunday Tuesdays are practice, Fridays are racing, and Sundays are make-up races. Overall it is a very clean place to be, there are many trash cans around the park, and there are places to picnic. There are benches and tables also located around the park. They even have a volleyball court, a tennis court, and a soccer court. I forgot to mention that it is child friendly and there is a lot of parking space, there used to be a recycling center located over there. The park is always open and its in a very friendly neighborhood. There are public restroom's. Wheelchair accessible ramp to get into the park, and wheelchair accessible parking. 😀 I have to brag a little bit. (I'm intermediate in bmx) BMX is a Dangerous sport so...
Read moreWell this was the first time at this park. We paid for a grad party at a shelter house that had several holes in the roof. It leaked water the whole time we were there. They had outlets for electrical usage, but they didn't work. So had to go get a generator for power which was an inconvenience. All the rain last week had the place a giant puddle which I tried to keep up with using a shop broom. We made the most of it, and had to do alot of adapt and overcome to make it work. It's a shame because when you have a parks and rec dept, you would think things could be taken better care of. Next time we'll go...
