Stonebridge Wedding & Event Venue — Attraction in Blum

I went with my niece-in-law’s wedding. So I know that typically this venue is used primarily for outdoor weddings due to the 100+ year old oak tree. On this day however it rained pretty much all afternoon and by the time we got there everything was wet. It was a little hard to walk from the parking lot through the wooden trail (unpaved) to the reception hall. I had on open-toe shoes with heels and I kept getting small rocks stuck in my toes. We were told that the ceremony wouldn’t be moved inside because it was originally booked as an outdoor wedding. This didn’t make sense to me as the ceremony then was delayed over an hour in hopes the rain would stop. Plus being under a large tree some worried about lightning, which luckily didn’t happen. By the time the ceremony began it started to drizzle, and we were told to put down our umbrellas so that people behind could see. The ceremony was still beautiful and the reception afterwards was fun. I liked that the dance floor was large enough to accommodate everyone, the food choice was delectable and the servers were superb. Only suggestion I would change is that they should pave the pathways so we’re not walking in dirt/rocks, especially when raining and that they have contingency plans to accommodate indoor weddings when the weather...

We booked our wedding date at Stonebridge Venue for March 31st, 2018. We love the venue and their staffs. Unfortunately, we have to cancel the wedding date several days after signing the contract (June 30th-July 9th, 2017) due to a family issue. I spoke to Micheala and her mom. They tried to help us to move the date but unfortunately we have to cancel at the end. We discussed with them about the possibility to have a partial of our deposit back since we just signed the contract not long ago and apologized for everything because it's out of our hands. I know cancelling our date affecting to their business and affecting other couples when picking their dates. However, wedding is so expensive and we just wished if the can have a second thought since we tried to let them know asap and I hasn't been that long from the signing date. They won't return even if someone else booking the date later. The owner was okay to give partial deposit back if we find another couple replacing our date before they do. We had our wedding Nov 2020. This was the second date we set on after COVID ruined our original plan of a Spring April Wedding. From our very first visit to Stonebridge we felt so welcomed by the owner Mike and the staff. We decided to book not only because it was the best value and the most stunning out of 3 others we visited in the area, but to us it was the friendliness of the people here. Fast forward to the wedding day, so many things went wrong for us, too many to name but every step of the way, Danielle, Michaela, Mike and Darla and other staff that I did not get the pleasure of meeting, we’re all on to save our day. They went above and beyond to help. Way more than they had to. If it was not for they’re help we wouldn’t have held it together like we did. They truly cared for our bid day and I am forever grateful to them. I am so glad we picked Stonebridge for our very special day.
