Blythe Intaglios 2 — Attraction in Blythe

Very cool! This is the second parking lot on the dirt road. You can get here in your 2wd or large RV easily but at slow speed. The geoglyphs are best seen in the morning when the sun hits it at an angle that creates the most contrast. No need to buy tickets or reserve spots. I have seen people camp out here in the parking lot and I don't see any restrictions against it. I also flew my drone. No restrictions against that either. The walk to this one (marked #2 on the map) is a flat and easy 2 min walk from the lot. This is the easiest one to walk to. It is protected by a fence that you can also easily walk around. Sunrise at Americas Nazca lines... the dirt road takes you up to the second Intaglio. There is a break in the fencing and a worn path to this more vivid human figure. It's surrounded by chain link fence to help preserve it. A viewing platform would be great, or perhaps bring your drone for better pictures. The road gets pretty rough shortly...

Access road is bad. The Intaglios are well protected against vandals. A great half day destination. Room to stop for a meal or a short rest.
