First time going to the geode beds and it was successful! Found one really cool geode with a grey/black interior which was my treasure for the weekend and found many rocks with crystals on the inside(I think they would be classified as a nodule, Geologists feel free to educate me on what I found). Perfect time of year to go, around 70s in the mid day so digging along the mountainside wasn't bad at all. Do your research ahead of time with where you need to dig and where you should go. Ahead of time. Take PLENTY of water to drink as well as a spray bottle to help clean off any rocks you think have crystals on/in them.
