El Rio Park South is a wonderful park for people who have kids that are full of energy. It has two playground areas, one for 2-5 year olds and an adjacent one for older kids (I think it's rated for kids age 5 and older). There are 4 swings, 2 for the older kids and 2 for babies where momy or daddy can swing w baby. There are also 3 pavilions with picnic tables nearby for birthday parties or get togethers. There is also alot of green grass for kids to kick a soccer ball or run around in. For adults, there are a couple of tennis courts, pickleball courts, basketball court and a sand volleyball court. Lastly, there is a sidewalk trail that goes all around the park for those who just want to walk or jog. The ONLY thing this park doesn't have is a splash pad. Otherwise, it would be perfect. FYI El Rio Park North is directly across the street. That's where you can find softball/baseball fields and a...

I not only learned to play pickleball here but also found great partners for the game. This park is perfect for spending time with children of all ages – it has everything for both the little ones and adults, including basketball, beach volleyball, tennis, and pickleball.
What I particularly appreciate is the lake, where you can fish or enjoy a kayak ride, and there are plenty of trails for walks and runs – a true delight for active recreation.
I also want to note that they constantly clean and maintain the park so that it always looks new! A huge thanks for that – it’s wonderful!
Even though I rarely visit these days, Google reminded me of this amazing place, and with enormous love, I gladly left this review. I highly recommend this park – 100...
Read moreOne of the greatest and newest nuggets in the South Florida racquet sports scene. The park has two hard courts for tennis and 4 dedicated Pickleball courts right next to the railroad tracks and Dixie highway.
The Pickleball courts get quite busy and is first come first serve. Put your paddle in the rack to get yourself a game.
The tennis courts are right next door and offer full vinyl fencing and plenty of space for singles or doubles or tennis lessons (although the city frowns upon it).
Free parking as well as beach volleyball, basketball courts, playgrounds and lots of picnic areas. It's a great addition to the Boca Raton community and the racquet sports community.
Courts are on 18th street right next to the firehouse and across the street from the softball and baseball fields on the north side...
