The Hindu Temple of San Antonio is in the city exit of San Antonio Texas USA. The temple is on a small hill which has a beautiful vision and a pleasant environment. I saw people coming and sitting outside the temple at the sitting area, taking a deep long breaths and enjoying the pure air, also one can meditate and can feel so so relaxed. This is the first impression one can feel. Second, after we enter the temple, no doubt we will be mesmerising and overwhelmed with the Lord Venkateshwara, Bhoodevi and Sridevi moorthis (statues). One can feel that you got darshan of Tirumala Tirupathi Balaji. The best part is we can have darshan from the closest or nearest point. The inside environment was very pleasant. Ayyagarus (the priests) were very polite in their approach. In addition, there are Ashtalakshmi statues. They were decorated with so much dedication and love towards goddesses. One will definitely surprise by this. Lord Shiva with Nagaraja was unexpected. Yes every Monday evening around 7, there will be Abhishekam. The journey to the temple will be memorable. People brung flowers fruits or some home made Prasadam while visiting. There is Prasadam for the last person too. Temple is build long back and temple association is also the long...

Inside the temple, a large murti of Sri Venkateshwara, reminiscent of the deity at Tirupati Balaji, is beautifully displayed. The priests are knowledgeable and perform daily pujas with deep Bhakthi.
However, there are a few aspects of the temple’s practices that stand out. During festivals and sometimes on regular days, few people, other than the priests, enter the Garbha Griha (sanctum sanctorum) to perform rituals like Abhisheka and the cleaning of the Shiva Linga. Traditionally, access to the Garbha Griha is restricted solely to the priests. Additionally, have also seen a few individuals repeatedly chanting Veda mantras (such as Rudram and Suktas) with incorrect pronunciation and pitch, often loudly over the microphone, which disrupts the entire spiritual experience.
For those who prefer a quiet atmosphere for prayer and meditation, visiting on non-festival days is ideal, as the temple tends to become more crowded on...
