Stopped there on our way back to Colorado from Turkey, Texas (the home of Bob Wills). I've always liked Boise City. Been there many times but never even thought about the museum until a like-minded friend mentioned it. Highlights? Jody, Dixie, quality, size, and merchandise. Jody, our host, was most gracious and helpful. The displays capture well the era and the area - the Dust Bowl, the Santa Fe Trail, and other history. Great merchandise, including many books with local and regional flavor; we got a sticker, a book about the Oklahoma Panhandle, and a postcard with an aerial view of the Black Mesa.
