Falcon Ridge Farm — Attraction in Bolivar

I returned to Falcon Ridge Farm this year after skipping last year. I missed a live tree at my lake house so much that I trusted the people there to help me get the tree loaded and I trusted myself to pick out one I could handle once I got home. So far so good. Despite iffy weather, it cleared up enough for me to take the wagon ride (hooked up to a tractor with huge wheels) down the hill and up the hill and down the hill and up the hill to the tree farm fields. Thank goodness I wasn't looking for a big tree grown on the property because those have been picked over this year. Although they did have a good selection of trees, they tucked in from out of state. Those are fancier (and pricier, of course,) but I am happy with mine, which is much like the ones we used to cut on our land in Mississippi - cedar and some spruce or pine. Pretty much the best thing about that place for me is that they are very nice people who are very helpful - which is a huge plus considering I don't often have help. Next time I go I'm gonna get some of that blackberry jam...

I have one word for this place "WOW". We brought our grandkids to this place today and they said they liked it better than the place in Milan. I would agree with them!!! This place has pony rides, corn cannon, petting zoo, tractor ride and much, much more. Oh, I forgot about the little pig race, that's the funniest thing I've ever seen. So, if you want to bring your kids or grandkids to a place where they can have fun, this is the place to be!!! I forgot one more thing, if you need any type of jelly, honey or molasses then stop by their store. I hope I didn't miss...

If I Could Give this place "100 Stars" I would. I home school my Oldest Daughter this the 1st Year/Time we ever took a Field Trip for Home School. The Hay Ride, The Scarcrow he was the driver for the hay rides & "The Good Witch" they was So Nice & So Professional. The entire facility was so Clean the Whole Country Barn Look was Beautiful. To See the Smile On My Daughter Face Meant Everything to Me!! Highly Recommend We...
