This is a nice place to take the kids. The price of five bucks, during the week anyway, is really reasonable. My cousin and I go there often. We often bring a handicapped young man with us, and he loves the water. The only downsides of this place are that it closes at 5pm, why so early, and a couple of the lifeguards who apparently do not realize that their voices carry. This one female was talking about how this overweight girl was "disgusting." I found that to be completely inappropriate and unprofessional work behavior. Furthermore, there was also a gentleman who made a snide comment about us because our frisbee went over the line--like a dozen times--oops. Read moreThis place is perfect for families with young children. Adults can also enjoy the water about waist deep (I'm 5'2). There's a lot of shade from trees and an open area for those who like the sun. Clean bathroom with changing stalls. I wish there's a shower to rinse up or maybe there's one but just didn't see it.
Yesterday was very hot so I thought the place would be packed and we will be on top of each other but it wasn't the case. The people were well spread out and we get to have a little privacy and peace.

Read moreIt's a great place for the family and kids!! It's about 3 ft deep and they have lifeguard always on watch. It's a very clean atmosphere family-oriented place! The noise is minimum so it's very peaceful and quiet. The water super clean and you can see your feet touching the sand! Very friendly atmosphere and has bathrooms where you can change out of your wet clothes. You can also fish there ,black catfish and bass!! The sunset is very nice 💯.
