Went for the first time to Bonita Beach dog beach. It's an odd beach, because you have to walk through water and mangroves to get to it. So if you're by yourself and packing a lot of stuff, it can be a little tough. But it's worth it. The beach is very very large. There are hundreds of dogs at one time. You can let them off leash, if you can call them back and they listen. Most dogs did not listen as well, so there's some leeway provided. There is one monitor onsite. But I didn't see him stop anything including aggressive behavior between dogs. But he's probably so used to it, because the aggressive behavior didn't last very long. There was no true dog fights or drawing of blood. The beach is beautiful. The sand is light. There's enough room on a beach to park an umbrella. But it is very crowded. The beach was crowded, but there was still lots of parking when I got there. I recommend this beach and I had to drive 45 minutes...

It's great that our dogs have a designated place to go to the beach, but i wish that the ground area you walk to before getting to the beach was more leveled. The deep puddles seem to be feces infested so watch walking through the area with your dogs. The beach area itself is calm for dogs of all sizes. I've been their twice, and the people tend to look after their dogs good enough they pick up the feces and control their dogs well. I also wouldn't advise you or your dog to play in the pool of water behind where people sit as the water doesn't flow through there and some dogs defecate in there and create the same problem I listed with the other stagnant pools of water. The newly placed dog wash is great for washing off your sandy dogs and sandy feet. Dog poop bag trash cans are available in the front of the park. Other than that it's...

This place gets five wagging tails. Great dogs, good owners (if you know dog park owners, you know what I mean, if you don't this park kind of sucks). So many things to explore and investigate and fetch and chase and try to drink, OMG who put salt in this lake, and places to layout and soak up the sun while your hair dries and your human tries to find that poop you hid in the trees. I mean I don't get it but they seem as committed to finding it as you are to retreating the ball. Maybe more since they always bring it all...
