The beach is beautiful. The water is pristine. The bathrooms could use some bleach. It was crowded with wall to wall people. If you are visiting on a hot day 91 degrees and up, you should bring an umbrella. Lots of sunblock. The sand is crushed shell based natural. Not to sharp to walk on. No bugs. I loved being there. The parking pay station took my debit card and posted 2 dollars for one hour. I couldn't figure out how to add more time. My daughter went back and put money in for more time. 10 dollars cash gave her 5 hours. So we stayed a little longer and gave the ticket away to someone who had not paid yet. Always do a good deed. Really 5 star location. There is a rinse off station to get the shell dust off. Wish we could have stayed longer. Had only towels with us because we are visiting from another state. If you live in Florida this is the place. Oh and the neighborhood has the most beautiful homes built to last. You will gasp at the wealth. Incredible. Buy some bleach and clean...

But that's exactly what it is, a slice of beach barrier island that I actually now own an apt on and this section has a nice bathroom I can stop at on my long walks looking at all the dolphin, manatee, jumping fish, birds in flight, and of course, shells. there's something about "my" beach that just makes me feel like I'm further away, like further further... like an island.
