Goose Creek Lake — Attraction in Bonne Terre

The lake has been around since the 1970s however the place has roads still not paved blacktopped or graded with a smoother rock size that causes less damaging to tires. However the majority of residents, property, owners, and patrons are very respectful and helpful. They have a wonderful organization that keeps the place looking nice. There is a market that gives the whole place a real authentic feel with filling food you only seem to come across on vacation or weekend get away. If you have a boat, side by side or need gas. There is more of a convenies store/gas station next to the post office. The price is lower then a marine gas station but a bit higher on average then you find in more populated setting. Visited and the lake is very nice with good docks. Unfamiliar with pricing but if given opportunity would return. Property is large and the lake is calm in low wind. Also a small beach is available for use next to the docs. Parking and boat ramp are in a good location...
