Kaniksu National Forest — Attraction in Bonners Ferry

I live on 90 acres that's located in the kaniksu National forest , and borders colville national forest. It's beautiful. I thank God for where I live everyday. There's a beautiful creek and pond and lots of wildlife of all kinds. The wildflowers , huckleberyys , wildstrawberrys , thimbleberrys and blackberry's. We can quad 4x4 and smowmobeil , hike to so many wonderful spots on the property and off the property. Sunrises 🌞, sunsets , star gazing and seeing the aroaraboryalice twice 😀 fanominal. Mountains as far as your eyes can see and an amazing view of the pend orielle river valley . Beautiful. Our best friends dad owns the property and we look after it for him and maintain it when he s away. Him and his whole family treat us like we are apart of their own. Don't know why Google want me to post under Kaniksu Forest, I was Northwest of San point at Bald Mountain. Anyway, Careful if you drive to Bald Mountain, the road is narrow enough for a jeep in most placed due to tree over growth. I drove my F350 crew cab long bed to the top, it was tight most of the way up after Baldy Mountain Rd on NF-2601. If another vehicle was coming in opposite direction we would have had a serious problem as there would be no way to pass or pull over. Someone would have to back up very far depending on location to a place to pull over enough to let other vehicle pass. I have a ceramic coating on truck, and drove slow, so my truck didn't get permanent tree striping. In other words if you don't want your vehicle all scratched up don't go up to Bald Mountain. WOW! PERFECT place to do Yoga or Tai Chi at dawn or dusk, watching the sunrise or sunsets from the waterfront. Don't even have to hike in!!! Park and eat a picnic lunch, swim, ice skate on the water in winter, sit on the giant stones overlooking the water and write poetry or makeout with your lover! So BEAUTIFUL!
