Boonville City Lake — Attraction in Boonville

A great place for family fun, or a romantic stroll with your loved ones. This park have lots to offer for everyone. 3 seperate playgrounds for the little ones, a spray park which is a free and fantastic way to entertain the little ones during the summer months. Not to mention during the summer there is always a lifeguard present and for most of the summer the park offers free meals for children, and $2.00 plates for adults. As part of a grant for our close knit community. A concrete path around the lake for those who like to exercise outdoors surrounded by nature. The park also offers two shelter houses for birthday parties or family gatherings. The newest has indoor restrooms, and a drinking fountain. The shelter one the other corner of the lake can hold quite a few people and there is a near by out house if needed. It also features a gazebo perfect for romantic evening's, photo opps., or to sit and admire the wildlife. There are plenty of geese for your viewing pleasure, but new laws don't allow you to feed them anymore due to health reasons. The park also provides fishing for those who like the sport. In the day time, Boonville city Lake is nice to walk around and let the little ones play. There are tons of events throughout the year for children, teens, and adults. The splash park is extremely safe for kids 12 years and under. The splash park always has a life guard on duty every summer. In the after noon time, when school let's out, the park is sometimes flooded with young kids playing. It's a safe area during after school hours and the friendly police are always patrolling to help keep the City Lake safe. Night time at Boonville City Lake is, for the most part, peaceful. Sometimes teenagers hangout around the late hours, but it is completely safe to be out at the city lake during the night hours. Beautifull green space. The lake has a nice shaded, paved path around it. Easy access for fishing and great for a casual stroll or jog. Covered shelter area, play ground and splash park for the little ones.
