Lerner Garden of the Five Senses — Attraction in Boothbay

Google said it was open so we drove out of our way to stop and see the trolls. Not only was its schedule not accurate and it was NOT open, but the staff also was unsympathetic to our request to just see the trolls and be on our way. This was on 11/9 and still today, Google shows it as closing soon when it likely isn’t open. Recommend calling ahead to verify the hours because even if staff are there and Google says it is open, you will not be able to see the trolls. Would be nice if they relocated them closer to or just outside...

This garden has so many thoughtful details, from different textures on paths to guide the visually impaired, to a Braille/ textural map of the garden made from materials that minimize heat in summer (avoid burns to the hands!), textured markers under railings to mark different horticultural therapy spots.
