Stony Brook Park is one of the hidden gems for hiking and mountain biking in Boston. Probably some of the most technically challenging riding spots within the city limits. Don't head here for flow or XC riding. Head here to test your skills on some true New England jank, you'll be better for it!

The wood in the hood. Hiking with or without your canine companion on several trails maybe even find some golf balls when the road takes you along the back of George Wright GC

We walked about an hour from Mattapan to go walking on these trails. Peter and Lois had a wonderful day. Next time we will take the commuter rail

Nothing better than running through Stony Brook after rain. All the streams are live and it sounds and feels wonderful. Good hills in there for training or just a challenge. My only complaint is that I wish the paths connected better across Enneking/Turtle Pond Parkway and that it weren't so dangerous crossing...
