It was evident that cleanliness was of paramount importance. The paths were spotless, and the well-manicured lawns exuded an aura of freshness. It was a delight to see the staff diligently attending to the cleanliness, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for all visitors. Their friendly demeanor and warm smiles made the experience even more enjoyable.
The park staff's commitment to excellence extended beyond their cleaning duties. They were approachable and helpful, always ready to answer questions or provide guidance. Their presence added an extra layer of assurance and comfort, creating a welcoming atmosphere for families and children alike. It was heartening to witness their genuine concern for the well-being of visitors.
Well-Maintained Commons, One cannot ignore the allure of the impeccably maintained commons area within the park. The sprawling green lawns invited visitors to relax and unwind amidst nature's embrace. Families sat together on picnic blankets, sharing laughter and creating cherished memories. The meticulous upkeep of the commons area reflected the park's dedication to providing a wholesome outdoor experience.
On a sunny day, the shade provided by the towering trees in the park was a blessing. The foliage formed a natural canopy, offering respite from the sun's scorching rays. This thoughtful landscaping not only added beauty to the surroundings but also ensured that visitors could enjoy the park's amenities comfortably throughout the day.
Play Equipment in Pristine Condition: One of the highlights of the children's park was undoubtedly the play equipment, which was meticulously maintained and in excellent condition. From colorful slides to swings and climbing structures, children were presented with a variety of engaging activities to explore. The attention to detail and regular maintenance of these play areas ensured the safety and enjoyment of the...
Read moreThis park is in a great location. Just off 228th. Not far from Bothell Everett Hey and 405. You can also enjoy an amazing view of the sunset here!
You can picnic here, rent their shelter, play basketball, let your child run wild in the grass field, go for a walk around their looping trail (kids can get out of sight on such a trail so that's something to watch for, and also part of it runs parallel with your 228th very close to the road). Sit and relax while your kids explore the awesome playground, etc.
Their Play structures definitely have a little something for everyone. There is a ramp onto the play scripture to accommodate some handicapped, as well as a good swing.
This is very popular Park and sometimes in the day, depending on the day some more than others. there's a lot of traffic there. It is not uncommon in general for a good amount of people to be present. For good reason as Miners Park has lots to offer!
There are bathrooms and a water fountain... Can't guarantee they'll be open but they were last time I visited. There are a few benches.
There is a very nice size sandbox of sorts... However, the sand is scattered out of it as well... Doesn't seem to me that the parks are maintaining things like they used to pre-covid... I'm sure I'm not the only one that's noticed this the last few years.
There's tons of shade at this park if you look for it. It's on the top of the hill so there's also tons of fresh air! The parking lot can be a bit crazy and since it is so popular it can fill up somewhat often. If you can walk, you might prefer this option to avoid the hassle of finding...
Read moreWe came here for the first time today. It has a wide range of toys for the kids to play on and a nice soft and bouncy composite ground cover. There are lots of large rocks for seating but no benches other than in the covered picnic area up away from the playground. There are also no trash cans which they bill as some eco-conscious hooey but its just a money saving measure that creates inconvenience for visitors. There are trash receptacles in the bathrooms (but paper towels were out in all bathrooms, hand dryers only).
I was not sure what to make of the sand and water garden. The sandbox was spacious. The only bit of water was in a little pond thing next to the sandbox and it had murky water and a few plants. I wouldn't want my kid to stick their hand in it. From the website I gathered it was somehow interactive but there were no signs and as the water was so unappealing, the only action seen was parents trying to keep toddlers from falling in.
While we were there, my son and a couple other people in our group started experiencing allergic reactions to something. There was a lot of fenced off areas of grass and plants so its possible something there was blooming. My son ended up having a full-blown episode and his eyes swelled shut. That's not the park's fault per se, but just a warning that if you have environmental allergies you may just want to bring something with...
