Tommy Turtle Park — Attraction in Bottineau

We traveled from Las Vegas to DCB to drop off our niece...yey!! Had no experience before in traveling in a RV nor what to expect in a RV rest stop. Boy oh boy, when we saw this park, we were Happy!! The softball coach recommended this site, awesome park. The rental fee was great, were there for 3 days. The restrooms we thought would be a concern, we were wrong, well maintained both inside and outside the area. We stayed here for two nights in our RV. The playground and park is beautiful and very well kept! The parking spaces are $20 per night and come with full hookups. The one downside was the water is extremely hard and smells like it too. My water quality meter was reading well over 500 ppm which exceeds epa standards… even after going through our two onboard water filters.

The spaces were nearly all full when we arrived. Seems many are traveling workers who stay for months or more at a time. Still, everything seemed clean...
