📚🌱 Attention, friends! I had a shocking experience at our local library today and I feel compelled to share it with you all. 😮
As an avid lover of gardening and a regular library user, I was thrilled when I heard that our library started loaning out garden tools. 🌿🛠️ However, my excitement quickly turned into concern when I discovered that some of these tools were actually quite dangerous! 😱
To my disbelief, I borrowed a tool that was in dire need of repair and, unfortunately, it broke while I was using it. 😥 Now, I understand accidents happen, but what baffles me is that the library insists on making borrowers pay for the damages caused by faulty tools! 💸💔
Libraries have always been a place of knowledge, community, and support, but I believe it's their responsibility to ensure the safety of their patrons as well. 🤝🏻🔒 Loaning out potentially hazardous equipment without proper maintenance and then holding borrowers accountable for any damage just doesn't seem fair.
I urge our library to reconsider their policies regarding these garden tools. It's crucial to prioritize the safety and well-being of the community, providing us with reliable and well-maintained equipment to enjoy our gardening pursuits without unnecessary risks. 🌻🛠️
Let's come together and voice our concerns constructively. I encourage you all to reach out to the library administration and express your thoughts on this matter. Together, we can make a difference and create a safer environment for everyone. 🗣️💚

Read moreWoman at the front desk was very unhelpful today.
As I approached the front counter, the woman there was in a rant about one of her fellow employees because they put a book back on the wrong shelf.
The purpose for me being there was that I needed to have my lost library card replaced, and so she asked me for my name. As I was giving her my name, she rolled her eyeballs like I was being a pain. If she can read my mind and know my name that way, maybe it would be better for her.
Afterwards, I was directed to the resource desk because of what I needed. In trying to ask for help there, the blonde resources librarian told me what I was looking for there was 't available. As I further questioned her, only three questions more, it was obvious that she didn't want to help me either because of how short and sarcastic her responses were.
Disgusted with two bad attitudes, I immediately left. There are kinder libraries in our valley.
If people are working in customer service positions, they should realize they are there to help-- not make someone feel uncomfortable for asking for their assistance, which is why they're there in the first place.
Very disappointed that my town would put such unhappy people in...
Read moreVery rude lady when trying to reserve a meeting room. Allowed our organization to reserve the room 2 months ago but refused to according to "library policy" today. Even went as far as chastising me because someone in the facility allowed our organization to reserve a training two months ago. Our organization gave a sizable donation to the library after we used the meeting rooms last time. Do not recommend this facility for any meeting room reservations unless you want the wrath of the library scheduler. Very, Very poor...
