I drove to visit the vineyards last Saturday. A nice 30 mins leisure drive from 'California 1' on the beach thru the beautiful forest to Roberts Ranch in the Santa Cruz Mountains. So nice to see the place with your own eyes and the grapes being gently cared by the diligent owner family.
The owner couple was once missionary to the Chinese and lived in mainland China for many years. After many years of loving the Asian, they are now back to their hometown raising 5 hard working boys. Everything is being done by themselves - from farming to bottling the wine.
The vineyards is in a very unique location as on top of a hill. You can actually see the San Fransisco Bay standing among the Vines.
