There aren’t enough words to describe how much we loved having our wedding at Hatch Point. We toured many venues before visiting, and Hatch Point was the only one that truly felt worth every penny. From start to finish, the experience was flawless.

Kelly and Darren have poured their hearts into creating the perfect wedding venue, and it shows in every detail. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but Kelly made the process fun and unbelievably easy. She was always quick to respond, offered thoughtful suggestions, and anticipated the little details most couples would never think of. Both Kelly and Darren were there every step of the way, setting up tables and chairs ahead of time and even coming in on Thursday and Friday to help us prepare. By the end of the weekend, they felt more like friends than venue owners. They even let us bring our dog Ruby along to make sure she could be a part of our day.

Lodging and venue: The glamping village and cabins are stunning. We were initially worried about guests being cold in the tents since our wedding was in late September, but Kelly and Darren had already thought of everything: plenty of blankets, fans, and space heaters to keep everyone comfortable. Our guests loved the convenience of on-site lodging, and the mattresses were so comfortable that I actually missed them when I got back home to my own bed.

Our wedding at The Barn at Hatchpoint was everything we could have ever dreamed of and more. From the moment we first visited, we were blown away by the venue’s stunning setting — the beautiful barn overlooking the Kennebec River, surrounded by a large lawn and incredible views. The is also on site lodging with glamping tents and cabins. It strikes the perfect balance between upscale elegance and rustic Maine charm. Every corner feels thoughtfully designed and picture-perfect.

But what truly made the experience exceptional were Kelly and Darren, the owners. They poured their hearts into every detail and made the entire process so easy, seamless, and genuinely enjoyable. Their warmth, professionalism, and care for their couples shine through in everything they do. They made us feel so supported and at ease every step of the way, which allowed us to simply relax and take in the magic of the day.

Our family and friends couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful the venue was and how smoothly everything ran. It truly felt like the day flowed effortlessly — and that’s thanks to Kelly and Darren’s dedication and vision.

Our daughter's autumn wedding weekend was magical from start to finish! The brilliant fall foliage magnified Hatch Point's stunning natural beauty! Having an outdoor ceremony amid the trees alongside the Kennebec River made for a truly picturesque setting!... with extra spectacular views and photographs enabled by the fantastic dock that extends out onto the water! Lastly, the magnificent modern barn, with its many special amenities, allowed us to enjoy a perfect celebration with family and friends!
