The Hidden Homestead — Attraction in Bowling Green

The venue is beautiful, but unfortunately it is ruined by the rude owner. Scott promises to be helpful, and allow full access to his decor. We paid for clean and setup, and Scott helped from 9-12 on Friday, and was unreachable the day of my wedding. The only thing he decorated were the tables, and arbor way, but he didn't even do that like we had discussed. When I messaged him about it and asked him to come changed it, he ignored me and never did. And as far as cleanup goes, you have to throw everything away after the reception and apparently get all your decor out by 12 on the wedding night, or he threatens to charge you an additional 600 after he originally had said you didn't have to have your decor out until 10 the next day. So I am not exactly sure what he cleans? He changes things he says, and goes back on his word, then acts like he never said things he actually did. Was also treated very poorly by him on the day we met to go over decor options. He wasn't prepared whatsoever, didn't allow us into the room to look at anything ourselves. This was the first and only venue that we viewed and we knew immediately this was the perfect place. We were hooked when we saw the location and how beautiful everything was, but Scott was the one who truly sold us. He was so helpful through the entire process and even on the day of the wedding. He gives so much helpful input to make the whole wedding planning go so smoothly. Scott is truly talented and one of the kindest people I've ever met. This venue is so unique in it's build, how custom and how much thought went into each detail to make it the perfect venue. We received so many compliments from out guests complimenting the beauty of everything about the venue. It was so convenient having the bridal cottage in walking distance to the venue with plenty of sleeping arrangements and the most beautiful beauty room for the bridal party to get ready. The venue has the most beautiful lighting and such a great setup for the DJ. Our DJ said it was the best setup from any wedding he had ever done. You do not want to pass this venue up. This venue is the only venue that we looked at for our wedding. We knew it was the one from the very beginning. The barn where the ceremony was held was breathtaking inside and out. There is a gorgeous fountain and gazebo that is off to the side of the ceremony isle. Beautiful day and night with lights that give it just the right touch and feel. Scott, the owner, was so helpful throughout the entire process. He went above and beyond. Scott is the most sweet down to earth person. He keeps you smiling all while making your day a memory that will last forever. We also booked Scott for our wedding and engagement pictures.They were breathtaking and the process of taking and picking out the pictures is so much fun! The bridal cottage that we booked was clean, beautiful and very conveniently located next to the barn.
