I did 3.5 miles in 1 hour and 25 minutes. It's a moderate trail with inclines/declines and starts out wide and narrows further in. Such a peaceful place with the birds singing the entire time. There's a few boardwalks/bridges to cross and a few large muddy areas but are maneuverable. I heard geese, saw ducks and a monarch butterfly. Most of the time you are walking over stones or roots. The trail map on the dcr website is very poor and many markers are not listed. It's easy to get lost. At least cell phone GPS worked well in the eastern part of the forest.
