I was out walking the past the corn maze looking out over the farm when the owner, Sheila, drives up asks me if I'm lost and accuses me of stealing. Mind you I'm with my daughters and their friend all under the age of ten. First claiming that the people working inside the store "weren't sure if I paid." I used a debit card so the slip would be in the till with my signature. Then she walked it back by saying, " It wasn't the people inside, it was all her." That she was "Sorry." Read moreLove this place! We picked strawberries, but before we did, we visited the interesting array of animals, birds, and foul, and talked to them all. Some of them talked back!
The strawberries are big and super sweet and juicy. But don't leave before you visit their bakery - get some cider donuts and don't forget the cheddar bread. I called this morning to make sure they have some cheddar bread. The pleasant woman who answered said they had 2 loaves left and asked if she wants me to hold one for me. I said, "Yes!" and gave her my name.
