Silver Lake — Attraction in Boylston

As beautiful as this place might have been at one point, now it resembles something out of a scary movie.

Bathrooms padlocked and boarded up. Snack/staff building locked and boarded up with signs essentially saying the lake is closed due to cyanobacteria. Site and signs claim the facilities are closed, but there's access to portable restrooms, none of which were in sight anywhere that my friend and I could see when we went. We went in hopes of doing some beach combing and enjoying the day. Needless to say, we opted to go to a consignment shop instead.
