Restrooms need up dating. No paper towels to dry hands. Hand dryer stone age more maintenance on grounds needed need new HEPA light hand dryers as used in rest stops in fl
Bathroom vent on the back wall that runs ventilation for restrooms needs to needs to be replaced. Vent fins are handing on by a thread
sites need treatment for. Ants after each camper leaves Fire pits need a major overhaul as in cleaned out and leveled.
Grounds. Need be cut every where by the lake boat dock. Low light walkway needs be put in. For short cut to rest room. Paved with low level path lights and down trees. That hang over path need to be removed
Water spickets need a shut off at bottom in the event of line break.
In addition. Water faucets. Need to the kind. That. Bow at 90 degree angle towards the ground. So that campers both tent and rv can use the water wash dishes and other items with out spray everywhere . The current. 45 degree water faucets sprayer all over the place current. Faucets gets water every where except down to fill. Up wash pans
Bagged. Ice would be. Awesome 16 to 20 bags would awesome. It would create more revenue for the park and projects. That need work ie rest rooms. Waters spickets and ground maintenance.
Soda machine at park station and live worms bait also would help revenue for things like bath room walk way lighted
Don't get wrong me. We love this place and the people that. Work here but park needs some serious maintenance

Read moreI camped here over a long weekend with my husband last year. The campsite was well maintained and our site was great! Just the right size for a tent or small camper, with water and electrical hookups, and a ring for a campfire. There was a wooded area between each site, so there was still some privacy despite the relatively small campground. The only suggestion I would make is more official routes to the restroom. There was only one cleared path from the main loop, so it was a ten-minute walk and if we walked from the other side of the loop to the path. You could tell that other campers had just crashed through the underbrush to get there faster, though. Not going to lie, we used a few of these makeshift paths in the middle of the night.
We went on a hike and fished at the lake both days. No luck with fish, but I did end up hooking an ancient-looking anchor. Took that home as a nice souvenir. The one issue with the lake being so close to the campground were the airboats. They were constant, all day and way into the night. It sounded like semitrucks were roaring around the campground every thirty second. There was supposedly a restriction on airboats after 10:00 p.m., but they kept us up until 1:00 or 2:00...
