Vicksburg Recreation Area — Attraction in Brady Township

Nice course, one hole shoots over water from the longs, water on the edges of several holes, well maintained with a mix of short technical and long holes. There are some thorns throughout, and some thorns from my worst nightmares on one hole specifically, I barely tried to even get in to retrieve a disc and instantly regretted it. But overall a pretty nice course, just stay on the green, the roughs are pretty thick...

The Vicksburg Recreation Area lies at the very heart of the Vicksburg Trail. The wide green spaces here are mostly used for disc golf. And if you're not here to play disc golf or access the trail, then there's really no point to come here. They do have a few benches and picnic tables however. Went for disc golf, wow is this course head and shoulders above the rest (I'm a noob btw). Romo park tries to emulate this course, but somehow it's less difficult even with all its ridiculous elevation changes. The Vicksburg park is challenging with relatively gentle up and down, and yes, I lost a disc to a water hazard lol. And still, it's so good, I can't wait to go...
