Park seems big and nice with a nice beach. Did not use the park. Camping the weekend and with two other groups. camp sites clean and grass cut. Would not return to camp at this park. Price is a little high compared to others. Sites close to each other. Camp grounds are in need of work as, fire pits under trees that over grown with branches 12-15 above. (Our two out side camp grounds.) Dirt camping ring road need more gravel or spray for dust. Lot of park travel thru camp ground. One camper across the road departed without camping because electric was not working in the site. Restrooms are for park visiters and campground. Not very clean with alot of old dirt that needs a good scrubbing. Camper showers super dirty. would not use. Staff very freindly on the phone. Alot to do...
Read moreWe had to reroute our plans and found this gem on RV Parky camping app. There's only 16 sites but they are very level, the area is very clean, grassy and a lovely spot to spend a night or two. I didn't go into the city park itself but there were a number of people playing disc golf. We saw a nice swimming lake, a few huge covered pavilions. Very enjoyable stay. The small kids' playground areas could use a little updating but overall it's does the job for kids 10years and younger to run around and climb for a short period of time, maybe older kids who like to climb on the monkey bars would still enjoy it.
