Stonegate Glass Chapel — Attraction in Branson

There are few places that stand out that you remember as magical. This is Stonegate Chapel for us. We were looking for an all-inclusive place we were traveling in from out of state/country. Although our daughter wanted an outdoor wedding, she was convinced the glass chapel surrounded by nature with the comfort of air conditioning would be a perfect alternative and appreciated by her guests.

GLASS CHAPEL: The chapel sits among the trees, at the end of a beautifully landscaped, paved path. The inside was breathtaking, making the most of the gorgeous surrounding forest with 360 degree windows all the way around the chapel.

BRIDAL SUITE There is a cabin near the chapel with a room each for the bride and groom's parties. The bridal suite was complete with a full-length mirrors, restroom, and vanities.

FLOWERS The floral shop the venue uses did a fantastic job with the bouquets; we were really pleased. The venue provided several really nice options for reception centerpieces. The chapel revealed so much natural beauty from the surrounding woods that we opted not to have flower arrangements for the ceremony.

PHOTOGRAPHY We used one of the photographers recommended by the venue (also included in the all-inclusive pkg): Shelby Chante's agency. The photographer was friendly, patient, professional and we are really happy with the proofs.

RECEPTION The reception hall also had large windows around 3 sides of the space, with trees in full view. We had around 100 guests, and it was ample and comfortable space for dinner and dancing. The food was delicious. We were so happy that this service, in particular, was included & coordinated by the venue. The venue's DJ was gracious, helpful when we needed professional suggestions, and incredibly tasteful. The cake was delicious. The cupcakes was also decorated beautifully, and were perfect for kids especially!

PRICE POINT We priced several venues. Stonegate's price with all they offer was difficult to beat, all expenses considered: chapel, reception, photography, flowers, catering, DJ, cake, etc.

VENUE OWNERS & STAFF Our daughter communicated regularly with Shalyn, who was friendly, helpful and accommodating every single time. The venue always responded quickly and thoroughly. Kayli, a Stonegate representative was present on site from beginning to end, which was amazing! The entire evening she was anticipating needs. She was gracious, friendly and her help and demeanor was priceless. Ally, a staff member was there when we arrived & had the reception already set-up according to our instructions. She helped with adjustments, and waited to give further assistance and to answer any questions. At the end of the night, we simply gathered our personal belongings and walked away; Stonegate handled the tear-down & clean up, too!!

I look back at this day and think, "That was the most beautiful wedding!" I can't imagine a more beautiful setting for a wedding. But the greatest gift was that Stonegate facilitates and coordinates everything with the vendors creating a seamless, dream...

It may be long, but please READ! All BRIDES need to read this: I bought the package that includes the glass chapel and their new reception building. I would recommend you ONLY renting the glass chapel for your ceremony, it's beautiful inside and you will get amazing photo's. But, DO NOT use their reception building, it’s a very small space.

They have way too many rules and that can really complicate the wedding planning process. They like to keep everything IN HOUSE as they will tell you, and this includes their catering services, DJ, and alcohol services etc. The food they offer is BBQ which in my case, my wedding was fancier and was to be a plated dinner and because I didn't use their catering services, they would not allow my catering team to use their kitchen. I thought that was extremely rude! Even though I rented the whole reception building for my wedding they will find a way to charge you for extra things, for example they charged me $30 extra to use their projection screen.

They are very strict with their time packages which in my case the highest one they even offer you is 8 hours + 1 extra hour and that is specifically for your vendors to come and clean up everything. My wedding was at 4 pm and they allowed vendors and my wedding party to come onto the property at 12:00, then what really upset me was that everyone had to be off the property at 9 pm. So, everything after the ceremony that takes place during the reception was rushed, and my family and friends were very disappointed they had to leave so early for a wedding. I have been to plenty of weddings and the reception ending time is usually around 11 pm, which is plenty of time for family and friends to enjoy their time together. The owner’s will not extend anymore time even if you offer to pay extra.

Also, ladies I know the new décor for weddings is to hang drapery and have fancy lighting, it is not allowed in their reception space to hang anything from their ceilings. Thank goodness for my wonderful decorator who truly decorated the space and made it look AMAZING! The DJ I had for my wedding through them was RUSSELL and he will not disappoint you, he does a great job! My wedding was everything I could have ever wanted but if I could go back, I would have totally picked a different place for my reception. I hope this helps...

We are so happy we chose Stonegate Glass Chapel to have our wedding at! We booked it sight unseen (we are out of state), and it exceeded our expectations! Shalyn was great at helping us plan everything in only 3 months! Personally knowing other brides who planned their weddings “differently,”, an all inclusive is just the way to go, in my opinion! I really didn’t stress much, they walk you through everything. We worked with Thomas, Kayli, Heather, and Ally the day of - all were so kind, amazing at their jobs, and went above and beyond what they needed to do! It was basically perfect, and we look back on our wedding day with nothing but happy, positive thoughts. I will say - the only “negative” was just a little miscommunication and a small issue with the florals but nothing that ruined the day 😂 florals were still beautiful and all was well. I could give lots of details about how great it was, but just know you’ll not regret choosing this venue!
