I just love this place! I have now finished all the trails and will continue to go. Very well maintained and a lovely variety and lengths for whatever you are looking for. I love being able to take my dog with me and not have to worry about others not have their pets leashed. Now, the only thing bad about the place is people of the public not picking up after their dogs... the park has sooo many canisters with pet waste bags for free for a reason, people need to stop being lazy and hurting others experiences. Read moreThis is the best park around, in my opinion. The structures have an attractive wooden-built theme that complements the landscape, and most of the trails are paved. On this side of the park, there is a pond, a number of hiking trails, a playground, and an observation terrace, which may be the highest elevation in the county. What most people don't know about this park is that it is actually really large. It even has horse trails if you happen to have a horse and a trailer to travel around with your horse. There are three different parking areas. The one area has a playground for the kids and a bunch of pavilions and picnic areas. One parking area is for the horse trailers. And the other parking area is for walking around the lake.
