Wiest Lake — Attraction in Brawley

The water is terrible!! Please people don't swim it, it's like a third world lake, thick, green and slimy. Swarms of bees everywhere, the bathrooms are terrible and very out dated. Very light polluted campground, forget about stars. The smell from the adjacent feed lot was mild on the chilly night I stayed there. There was no office to pay fees, we were birders and left before anyone that may come by in the morning to collect it. Restrooms were clean, had showers & had supplies...
