I came across the Historic Mansfield Covered Bridge during a gravel ride and was genuinely struck by its beauty. Nestled in a peaceful rural setting, this wooden bridge exudes character and charm. The craftsmanship is impressive, and the way it blends into the natural surroundings makes it a perfect photo stop or rest point. What makes it even more special is the sense of stepping back in time riding over the wooden planks, you can almost hear the echoes of horse-drawn carriages from the past. It's well-maintained and clearly cherished by the local community. Whether you're into history, architecture, or just scenic gravel routes, this bridge is a gem worth visiting.

Great festival every year. Great food and loads of different things to shop for. Beautiful scenery. This is the best way to end the fall, the trees are exploded with brilliant colors, the smells of all the foods fill the air. Definitely a must see and experience! The view of the river from the bridge is something that you have to see. For our handicap ♿️ family and friends they do have scooters for rent. I have to admit that my favorite to taste will probably always be the kettle corn 🌽, the aroma of it fills the air...I can almost smell it now!!

This guy is awesome! We've missed him coming to the Covered Bridge Festival the last few years. He makes the best wire name signs. I've bought each of our granddaughters one for their room, and finally this past year we were able to get one for our 4 yr old granddaughter too when he returned. Hers was late because he was gone a couple years. He's back to stay he said. I don't think we were the only people who missed his talent, based on the line behind us. The entire festival especially at Mansfield is great and worth the 2 hr drive to get there every year, even if we mainly go for the wire sign man!! They have almost anything you'd look for at an event of this nature from homemade Christmas gifts to books, scentsy, oils, and other arts and crafts for purchase. This year, I even found crystals and sage for burning. Indian jackets, leather goods, sheets, toys, made for tv sales items, etc. The food is always delicious. Turkey legs, pork chops, candied pecans, cotton candy, homemade ice cream, and so much more. A must do if you're in the tri state area. Very worth the drive. It's free, except for parking which was...

I look forward to the coverbridge festival every year. There are so many vendors and food vendors. I mainly go for the food! Pay $4 for Jim's parking which is convenient. There are portal potties but also real restrooms as you walk around. Just fun to walk around and see the different vendors. I go to the Mansfield and sometimes Bridgeton coverbridge. Mansfield is bigger with different things you don't see in stores everyday. A bunch of "knock off" products so just be aware of what you buy and check items as they could have been stored for years and might not work lol. Still great to go. Bridgeton is more "crafty" type vendors. I don't usually bring my kids as I don't feel like going to the restroom every hour and we do a bunch of walking so I know they would get tired. I've seen people bring their dogs. Some people would say they see the same thing over and over which I can see that. But there are other vendors that sell different things. Overall, it's fun for me and I enjoy stuffing my face with all the good yummy food. Haven't had anything...

Well my boyfriend and I took a little 7-year-old friend of ours on the first Sunday of the mushroom festival! We definitely enjoyed the food! And also we enjoyed looking at the different vendors and the 7-year-old played a couple games to win a prize. But I know the weather depends on whether there are mushrooms to auction at the mushroom festival but we weren't looking enough to buy any of this year so far! The auctioneer said to come back next week he may be lucky enough to have some to auction. I don't know if I'm going to be able to make it back and I dearly love mushrooms! If we don't get any this year I guess we'll look forward to next year. But all in all we had a good time enjoying especially the food and the...
