Great stop for educational purposes for kids and adults about the areas wildlife. Also a great place to stop to talk to park rangers for info on the park and getting tips and tricks on planning a hike through the park.
They had paper maps of the park available for free but i wish they had a good quality map also available for more detailed hikes and planning.
The staff member there was super kind and helpful to help me plan out a hike from the discovery cebter entrance to the chino hills wntrance and determining how long it would take as well as which trail to do depending on the time of year.
Will definitely need to bring my nephew here and recommend the discovery cebter to schools and other learning programs.

Read moreOur visit to the Discovery Center was well worth the drive. We drove for over an hour to get to the park. The park (the part we saw) was incredibly beautiful. I am glad I can live somewhere where I can drive just a short while and be surrounded by beautiful nature. The Discovery Center was an excellent part of our trip. We learned so much from the helpful park interpreters. They were kind, friendly, and incredibly informative. They made the trip so much more enjoyable. Read moreI parked here and went up the Telegraph Canyon trail on a mountain bike. This time of year all the wildflowers are so beautiful. The only problem is that the yellow mustard plants are so big that they make the path quite narrow at places. But it's definitely worth the ride. Beautiful oak trees a few miles up the trail. It's a very gradual up hill but definitely faster coming down, just watch out for hikers and oncoming bikers, especially with the mustard flowers beautifully covering half of the path.
