The campsite was perfect and quiet! We met a wonderful park ranger, Sarah, who helped us find the trail around the mine area and told us a little about the mine as we walked! We so appreciated her kindness, as we had been a little turned around.

We heard and saw loons the entire trip, as well as many grouse, and frogs, hawks, deer, and rabbit! Amazing park and amazing facilities! we'll be...

Campground has large sites with trees giving us privacy between neighbors. Tent camped so really enjoyed the clean restrooms and showers with plenty of warm water. Within the campground had hiking trails, bike trails, boating or fishing on lake Vermilion and plenty of site seeing in the area offers...
