To visit Albers, you must make a reservation for a scheduled docent lead tour. Sometimes the website is "wonky". I lack a better term. We had a great self- guided tour of the gardens in mid summer. So much to see and a lovely place to hang out for a while. Interesting to see so many plants, many of them doing well without built in irrigation. I like the emphasis on sustainable gardening. A large collection of evergreens. It is a garden on a steep hillside, so need to be prepared to navigate that. My hiking sticks were helpful. I cherish this little oasis in my neighborhood. They have preserved the land and created a haven for northwestern flora to flourish. The public can visit and learn all about the native trees and plants and how to better preserve and grow them at our homes.
