Read moreThis was kinda sad. It was cute with nice lavender feilds. Don't get me wrong! I'm an equine veterinarian in training, and I understand alot bit like I said, I'm no professional, but i do work with horses, small animals, and farm animals. There was a donkey she/he was around 10-12 years old and from what I can see it either has a massive tumor or muscle disorder where the muscles be one much larger than what it's supposed to be. This donkey should be at a vets. Not only that, the water there was disgusting. The water was green. their waters should be cleaned and refilled at least 2 times a day. On top of that, these poor animals did not have any feed or hay. Not to mention. We also tried to buy ice cream and had no spoons, so we couldn't buy it. So the main reason why my rating is low for this place it because of that poor donkey. See the red? Yea, those lumps are not meant to be there. His/her mane doesn't even go to their forelock. Poor baby, I don't know exactly what it is only because I couldn't examine it, but that's not that good. I should get checked out.
Edit#1 I just wanted to apologize for my rude comment, I should have asked before skipping to conclusions. I also apologize for being in the wrong and being totally stupid. I apologize. I was just a little upset about the donkey. I also should have known that you most likely asked a vet. Typically, people don't, but i shouldn't have jumped to a conclusion...
Read moreThe most fantastic-off the beaten path- quaint shop that I have ever been to my life. Five stars is not even enough of a rating for the many wonderful things that this shop has to offer. The shop is filled with many items that are homemade on the premises and from their own crops. They have different types of lavender plants, oils, lotions, homemade one of a kind jar pickles ranging from Cajun spice all the way to bread and butter pickles, lavender fudge, lavender jams/ preserves. My boyfriend and I bought two lavender plants and are challenging each other to growth contest. Depending on the season they have lavender, peach orchard, fig trees and you are allowed to pick your own fruits / lavender bundles. Two of the most wonderful women Debbie and Maria were helping us navigate through the lavender world in this wonderful shop. Another very special item that make at their facility is a mixture of oils including lavender that repel mosquitoes. Funny side note, I am a Texan and actually allergic to mosquitoes so this spray is absolutely invaluable to me. In short I'm completely in love with this shop and would highly recommend it for unique gifts as well as a treat for...
