Davidson River Recreational Area — Attraction in Brevard

This is a great place to spend a few hours, day or week at. It is right next to Davidson River Campground. There is an accesztrail from the road on the otherside too. River is calm enough to use regular tube through a long tubing route. Kids can handle them selves and get out at any of the exits. There is a nice trail along the river to walk back to the wading/ tube launch area.

There is a nice jumping platform made of a simple concrete block. Kids can spend hours jumping in the river here. There also a small sandy area that kids use to dig and create sand castles in or people just chill in a chair watching over kids.

The location is easy to maneuver. Close proximity to Walmart and grocery stores. The sites are primitive but it has hot showers and flushing toilets. Very friendly people. Fire rings and lantern hooks. Loads of tree cover and tables. Has raised tent pads. As well as driveway. The gate has firewood and ice same price as Walmart. Mant trails and numerous waterfalls.
