Trader's Cove — Attraction in Brick Township

I wanted to visit F cove with my boat last summer. This marina seemed to be very convenient since it's right next to F cove. The gentleman was surprised that I was launching the boat on my own, nice guy though. The facility has access to bathrooms, parking and a children's park. The highlight for me was being able to flush my boat & engine before my 1hr drive since they allow complimentary access to a hose (fold the hose when done!). The only thing I didn't like is that the dock at the ramp has no protection for the boats. Especially, when the waves are entering the ramp, is likely for your boat to hit the dock poles/pillars. I turned my fenders horizontally to have a wider coverage but the pole was still making its way towards my boat. I managed to install the fender on the dock pole instead, it worked better but, it's a bit hard installing fenders on the dock poles while docking your boat. This hidden gem on the water in Brick Township is a great place to relax, take a walk, or launch your boat. It's never crowded and parking is plentiful and free! The marina is staffed and fully equipped for short term or seasonal use. The playground for children is well designed with a covered gazebo and picnic tables. Parents and grandparents can relax in the shade while children play safely just steps away. On the other end is the fishing pier with stations situated conveniently for cleaning fish. Watching the boat traffic from one of the benches is relaxing. The well designed landscaping was so much better maintained last year....let's hope this...

Its just a small public area, you can watch people fishing, or just sit and eat your lunch. You can walk all the way up to the top of the old bridge. They left it there for people to fish, or sit and have lunch or just enjoy the water views, work on your computer, read, whatever, there is a covered picnic table style seating area.
