Beautiful trees and scenery. Excellent trails, some trails are boardwalks over the more swampy areas. Observation decks are available at way points, benches that are comfortably placed on the trails for a quick rest up. Clean with some rustic camping sites that are tent only. Has a fire pit and four benches surrounding it. Latrine style toilets at the site for toilet use. The main welcome center has more modern toilets, a trail map, and park equipment for younger park goers. For rental of the campsite, I recommend looking up reservations through the township.

This is a really nice nature center! Plenty of parking that has a good amount of shade, and lots of benches throughout the trail. Right inside the drop-off entrance there's a nice clean bathroom with a changing table and benches, and just past that there's a playground and a covered area with picnic tables. I walked the entire trail with an outdoor stroller, and it was not too bad considering it's a natural dirt path with lots of tree roots. Definitely recommend and we will be going back!

Great place to go for a nature walk! There's also a playground, picnic tables, Pavillion, and bathrooms. Benches throughout the walking paths. The Halloween decorated paths were a fun touch and my 4 year old had a blast! Recommend this park. Safe, I've never felt uncomfortable or unsafe going to this location. Dog friendly.

This is a great piece of land with some fairly mature forest. It is wonderful that people have been getting close to nature here for years. The downside is all of the carving graffiti on old beautiful trees. I guess it was a macho way to turn on your girlfriend back in the day.

Yesterday was the day after the vernal equinox and my son pointed out a pair of mating garter snakes, incredible find. Overall this is a great resource. Just up the road is the Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge which is worth the trip. Get out into nature but...
