Stop & Shop — Attraction in Bridgeport

In a hurry, I picked up a carton of Swanson Bone Broth, got home and went to open it, and realized that it was FOUR months expired, and the seal was already cracked. I called the store, asked if I would be able to swap it for one that wasn't opened or expired. The woman I spoke to was incredibly rude huffing and puffing as I'm speaking to her, and then has the nerve to ask me "well how expired is it?" I don't care if it was 2 hours past the expiration date, for a grocery store to actually be selling expired food is not a good look. I've worked retail, clearly someone isn't doing their job properly. Anyways, I was then told they couldn't take it back if it was opened...but I bought it from y'all already opened! So I had to waste money by throwing it away, and going to the Fairfield store to buy an unopened and...

I think there's maybe 3 S&S in bridgeport? This one on Fairfield ave, BlackRock turnpike, and main street near Trumbull....I like the BlackRock one best, however I go to this ffld ave the most. The one near tbull sucks. It's dirty and smelly. This one on ffld ave is pretty clean, well stocked. The customer service could user some work, but it's not horrible. And there are some who seem to truly enjoy their job and it's refreshing. I love that they carry my ginger beer in the fridge section. I wish they'd sell the shredded Brussels sprouts again. There's usually a guard in store, there's a people's bank, no pharmacy, lack luster floral dept. Not a bad...

Good afternoon, this Stop & shop is convenient but the customer service desk need a better system when it comes to delivering service to the customers. There is one person waiting on people and you have Western Union , returns and lottery all being done by one person Western Union is very time consuming why not have at least two people one for lottery and returns this will help the line move a little faster and it will relieve the congestion at the service desk. You are loosing quite a few people because of this issue. I hope something can be done concerning this matter. Happy New Year 🎉...
