Washington Valley Park - PARKING — Attraction in Bridgewater Township

This place has some trails where you can walk inside the jungle. In the summer there are lush green in the jungle which is very soothing. We saw lot people took their kayaks and do some kayaking in the canals. There are bear warning. Also it was written in the parking that there are some insects which cause Lyme disease, so please take some insect repellent with you. We saw some people biking and fishing here. Great hiking–trails for a variety of athletic levels. The hawk observation point overlooks a quarry, but scenic nonetheless. It is worthwhile to try accessing the park from all of its parking areas. Trails were extremely muddy. Trail markers were confusing. The porta potty and garbage containers were a welcome feature. Too many bicycles, thus the muddy trails and massive trail erosion.
