Incredible lake for fishing and boating. There are large pickerel and bass along with other native species in abundace. The lake does not get very deep, maybe 6 feet in deepest areas. Also the lake has a reddish coloring due to iron oxide. A great place to find quartz clesr or with mineral inclusions that are unique to this lake. Nicknamed 'The 'Nip'

Such a nice pond. Able to fish boats are allowed. Nice places to sit in a chair enjoy views or read a book. Pet friendly. Great to be able to walk barefoot in the water

I'm always so happy to be able to take the kayaks out on the Nip. Can be very windy because it's so open, making the current pretty strong. But it is beautiful, love the little island in the middle. A great little place to rest, enjoy the...
