Pitiful. Absolutely pitiful. This used to be a family friendly place to go back in the 80's and 90's when we were raising our kids. There was a lot to offer: fishing, hiking, clean and opened bathrooms, there was a beach with a maintained swimming area that was "roped off" along with a nearby Pavillion. There were even Picnic tables with Charcoal Grills and Fire Pits. At 1 point, there was even a few Sessions of Day Camp held there for Girl Scouts. Our boys loved spending a day fishing, catching frogs and swimming! Now.......LOCKED Bathrooms, NO Beach (its grown in), NO Swimming Area, NO Trash Cans, and NO Picnic Tables (who wants to BBQ without a Picnic Table?!). The Pavillion is still there and so is the Building with the Bathrooms but the Buildings are in need of upkeep, maintenance, repair and are LOCKED. Yup, your Tax Dollars at work. Absolutely pitiful to let a little jewel like this go to waste......Come on Massachusetts, you can do...

Their courtship began with a dance of sorts—swaying, stomping, and tossing twigs into the air. The forest hushed as they entwined, their massive forms blending into the shadows. Amid rustling leaves and snapping branches, their union was primal, fierce, yet tender. By dawn, they parted, leaving only trampled ferns and a faint musky scent—proof of their fleeting love, hidden forever in the wild. Also the...
