This is a MUCH bigger place than you'd expect when you first drive up. The Audubon visitor's center has displays set up for young children and has a decent gift shop. The walking trails are well marked and lead past a bike path over an inlet with brackish water. This is a great place to birdwatch - we saw an Osprey dive and catch a fish out of the water and then fly away from another bird that tried to steal their catch. It was an impressive...

I took my children there to attend a birthday party, which included a 30 minute nature walk. The guide was great with kids and spoke in a way the kids could understand. The aquarium is small, but super cute and the kids all loved the different displays. The Audobon Society & Aquarium is great place for anyone looking to spend a quiet afternoon with the kids. It's fun and educational. There is available...

We were surprised it wasn’t busier this afternoon (beautiful weather, free family day), but that made it even lovelier! The boardwalk to the bay is an easy and beautiful path, and it was enchanting among the tall cattails swaying and rustling in the wind. We also enjoyed the aquarium/wildlife exhibits, which while not large in scope were interesting and informative. It would be a great place...

This was such a beautiful, peaceful walk. The birds, the deer, the butterflies all highlights. Educational for the kids as well. We did a quick walk through the aquarium inside (it was about to close) but it's definitely a place to come back to. If you do happen to forget your sunscreen they have a dispenser with mineral sunscreen in it !

I came with my toddler here on a free family day at the adjoining Nature Center. My toddler loved exploring the paths, and we walked the boardwalk out to the ocean. She got a good view of an Osprey nest...and we saw a small snake. It was a lovely experience for both of us, can't wait to come back as the weather warms!

Beautiful, delightful and peaceful place to go visit! I was invited by Noreem Inglesi for a Poetry and Music Workshop, I visited on the weekend and it was not busy. In fact, there were two families and a few solo people enjoying the sights. I had a great time and can't wait to go visit again! 😎 🌳 🐝
