A Paw-sitive ReviewFive stars. No, wait. Six. I didn't even know that was an option until my dog, Jazz, informed me that this is not a dog park. This is a launchpad for inter-species, multi-dimensional imaginative adventures. We pulled up to this well kept patch of grass and gravel, which, to my human eyes, looked like a perfectly normal dog park. But as soon as Jazz’s paws hit the turf, she transformed. The air crackled with a silent energy, and I saw her eyes lock onto a particularly fluffy Golden Doodle. The mission was afoot. From what I could gather, the Doodle was a rogue space pirate and Jazz, a top-secret agent on a quest to retrieve the legendary “Lost Tennis Ball of Yore.” Their epic chase across the field was not about simple fetching; it was a high-stakes battle for the fate of the slobbery galaxy. They were joined by a tiny, but fiercely brave, chihuahua-mix who, I believe, was the stealthy pilot of their getaway vehicle (a beat-up frisbee). Later, a stoic German Shepherd, clearly a retired Special Forces operative, entered the fray. He didn't run; he patrolled the perimeter, his nose to the ground, sniffing out threats from the notorious Squirrel Syndicate. He barked not with aggression, but with the cool-headed precision of a field commander. "Stay clear of the tree line!" his barks seemed to say, "That's where they hide the acorns of mass destruction!" This park is more than a place for dogs to relieve themselves and get some exercise. It's a theater of the mind, a living fantasy world where a simple game of tag becomes a thrilling dungeon escape and a friendly sniff becomes a crucial intelligence briefing. If you're looking for a quiet afternoon with your furry friend, go somewhere else. But if you want to be an unwitting spectator to the greatest untold stories of our time, grab your leash and head to the Rose West Dog Park. Just don't get in the way of a Border Collie who’s clearly been tasked with organizing the local sheep herd (or as I call them, "the other...

A decent sized dog park with separate gated areas for small and large dogs. The restrooms and the park are wheelchair accessible and there are several drink stations for the doggos. As with ALL Tulsa County dog parks, both children under 12yo and intact (unspayed/unneutered) dogs over 6mo are NOT PERMITTED BY LAW. (It is a DOG PARK - NOT a park for children. Unfortunately, too many guests here either don’t know how to read or just dgaf..) I love that there are plenty of free dog-doo bags, poop-scoopers, and waste receptacles too, BUT I don’t love how I spend half my time here cleaning up after other PEOPLE or explaining the rules about intact animals over 6mos and/or human children under 13yo to guests who are illiterate or have no manners. I really enjoy the dogs and most of the people that come here, but the lack of any real shade in the summer, proper drainage for the rest of the year, or rule-following/enforcement earns...

Great dog park! Good community of owners watching their dogs. There’s a small dog park and large dog park section. Couple things I personally hate is when people in groups bring small dogs to the large dog portion when they could have someone take the small dog to the small section and someone to the large section. Also people who bring dogs to the park that don’t play or socialize with other dogs. Like there will be dogs that come that want to play with all dogs. Mine is 6 months and is a rescue. He also was abused so to get the chance to play with other dogs excites him. He will try to play with some dogs in which case owners claim he’s “attacking” their dog. My dog lives with a senior female dog in which he is very tame with. So be aware some “egotistical” dog owners will be there. And those who think they’re professional...
