Oakholm Farm Estate — Attraction in Brookfield

Where do we even begin. Oakholm Farm Estate was an absolute dream to get married at. From the beginning we knew we were taken care of. Caroline Fontaine is hands down the best wedding coordinator we could have ever asked for. She made the whole process stress free. There wasn’t one detail that was missed. The day of, her assistant, Ariana, also made our day seamless. We had a very tight timeline and between the two of them we were able to get everything done. They helped relieve any and all stress we had. We opted to rent the Big House for the weekend and it was the perfect getting ready area. With 6 beds and 6 baths, there was plenty of room for everyone to get ready. The groomsmen got ready down at the cottage by the lake. It was perfect to have them have their own area on the property to get ready. Our ceremony by the lake was picture perfect. They were very accommodating getting our guests down from the parking lot that needed assistance with the golf cart. Caroline and Ariana also worked with us to get our grandparents down the aisle safely by recommending them walking in from a different spot. (They truly think of every little detail) Our reception was everything we could have asked for and more. The team at Oakholm brought our vision alive and it was perfect. Again, Caroline and Ariana made sure we stuck to our timeline, and most importantly, made sure we ate. Ariana then brought us around to all of the best spots for our sunset pictures. The landscaping around the whole estate is absolutely beautiful. I can’t recommended getting married at Oakholm Farm Estate enough. It is hands down the most beautiful venue.

I’ve worked in the wedding industry for 9 years and seen a lot of different venues but none of them come close to comparison to Oakholm Farm Estate! When we got engaged, there was no questions about the “where”. Oakholm had everything we were looking for and more. We wanted a venue with a view and outdoor elements that our pups could be apart of, we wanted a “blank slate” to create our own vibe and we wanted somewhere where the wedding party could stay on site and get ready. We rented the property for the weekend which allowed our family and wedding party to have a “home base” as almost everyone including ourselves where coming from out of state. The house came with a free breakfast every morning which was a life saver, especially the morning after our wedding. Our wedding was “Mexican inspired” and Oakholm worked with our vision to created two amazing signature cocktails that go with the vibe. They even let us take photos with their donkeys, something we’ll never forget! Their staff was amazing and kept our wedding on track. They even shuttled us and our photographer around their property showing us all of these hidden gems for breath taking photo opportunities. We rented their brewery out for an after party which I highly recommend! It was a short walk from the tent to the brewery and our guests thoroughly enjoyed sitting back and ending the night with a cold one. When my husband and I first laid eyes on Oakholm Farm, there was no doubt it was the ideal location to host our special day. It is the perfect combination of what we had both dreamed of; the weekend wedding concept and elegant estate and gardens I craved, merged with the fun, outdoor, lakeside retreat my husband envisioned. This location is truly magical and we have had countless compliments from our guests and vendors on our idyllic choice of venue ever since the wedding took place. As a professional event planner, it was important to me that my spouse and loved ones would be able to relax leading up to the big day, without having to worry about any set-up or complications. At Oakholm, we received an entire TEAM dedicated to our wedding weekend, ensuring that the celebration ran smoothly and was the best day of our lives. Christina, Babe, Caroline, and Ariana, along with a myriad of talented staff were exceptional and went way above and beyond the call of duty. I could go on and on about how amazing everything was, but I encourage you to visit and see for yourself. One meeting with the owners and a quick tour around the property and it will be clear why we chose this space.
