Homestead Whittington Farm — Attraction in Brookhaven

We had our wedding at the Homestead and IT. WAS. BEAUTIFUL. Everything was perfect. The day was gorgeous. We had originally planned to have the wedding outside but it ended up being too hot so we just had it inside venue which was easier than I expected. Tables were already set up. we just moved the chairs to form an aisle and after the ceremony, the guests just took their chairs to whatever table they chose. Very simple. I will say that if you are planning to prep your own food as we did, you will need to supply everything yourself. The kitchen does not supply any dishes or utensils to prep food, just a fridge, oven and sink are available. Overall this was the perfect place to hold our wedding and reception. We got some beautiful photos here and Kara was very helpful and accomodating!! I definitely recommend this...

This home is situated so beautifully in the heart of Southwest Mississippi, with a landscape so very pleasing to the eye, rich with history and the story of the lives of the property's owners. From the moment you turn into the drive you are warmly greeted and welcomed into such an inviting space. It was the perfect setting for my event and I felt completely "at home" from the moment I walked in the door. Homestead's location is unbelievably beautiful. The immediate and surrounding grounds provide a peaceful respite and invites guests through what seems like an endless variety of interesting natural and landscaped features.
